Please give me a moment of your time to share with you the story of my friend Farah, who is supporting her family of 9 in Gaza. We desperately need your support to help them.

Farah has the sweetest soul, and is extremely compassionate, thoughtful and smart. She is also just a 22 year old girl. She cares for her family, she has fears and dreams, and wants to continue her studies in computer electronics at University.

All of her dreams have come to a complete stop because of the ongoing torment in Palestine.

Farah’s family includes her Mother, Father, Grandmother, 3 sisters, and 3 brothers. Farah’s Grandmother is elderly and in immediate need of medication and care. Unfortunately any supplies and aid that enter Gaza are sold by merchants at exorbitant prices so each day is a life threatening struggle to find and afford basic necessities.

Farah and I talk every day and she shares with me some of her pains,

“Today we don’t have food. I don’t know what to do. My little brother is crying.

My heart is breaking.”

Can you imagine not being able to give your little brother a meal? This is what families in Gaza face each day.

Please help my dear friend Farah to feed and support her family.

“Hello, let me introduce myself. My name is Farah. I live in Gaza with my family of 9. I study computer electronics at university. I cannot complete my studies at university because of the difficult and expensive living conditions we face in Gaza.In addition to all this, there is a shortage of food and the inability to buy food due to the high prices. Even if prices drop, we cannot buy because we have used up everything we have.

Two months into the war in Gaza, the area we lived in was threatened and we were told to evacuate. My family and I moved to a tent on the beach in Khan Yunis. Then the area became dangerous and we had to leave it and we moved then to a tent in Rafah, and when Rafah became a threat to danger, we were forced to flee to the beach in Khan Yunis again.

We no longer have a home to live in. Our house is completely destroyed. Our dreams and memories are gone. It has become a painful memory for me and my family.

The financial situation in Gaza is very difficult. We haven’t had gas for months, and everything we do has to be lit, even if wood is available. There is no work and my family cannot provide for me and my brothers. Many days we cannot provide bread and food. We also suffer from difficulty in obtaining water from a faraway place.

I truly cannot describe our lives and the suffering we endure in words.”

Thank you for listening,

with Love,

Farah & Teddy.

08/13/25:

This morning Farah woke up experiencing very bad flu symptoms such as full body aches, fever, and a sore throat. She was able to retrieve a small amount of medicine but it was not enough or what she needed to get better.

07/28/2025:

Farah’s older brother, Ibrahim woke up sick with a virus and no access to any medicine. The family has been forced to rely on Ibrahim, who has been selling drinks every day to be able to afford the family any amount of food they can find at exorbitant prices. Without these sales, the family has not been able to eat anything at all. Please consider helping this family during their hardest moments

07/20/25:

The IDF has ordered evacuation of the area where Farah’s family tent is located, meaning they are being displaced once again. The evacuation order states that you must leave for your family’s safety. Unfortunately due to the ongoing forced starvation, Farah is too weak to evacuate without transportation for her family of 9; this transportation alone will cost around $300.

Farah has been vetted but due to her families customs and traditions- cannot post her face on the internet*, so instead I share with you her words so that you may empathize with my friend. We ask of you to consider donating any amount that you are able, to help them at this extremely difficult time.
